The hotel is undergoing refurbishment to accommodate personal needs but hasn't been made up yet. The staff at the Mercure was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially in providing access to the convenient underground public car park with an indoor entrance. The location offers the possibility to walk to and from the train station and secure underground car park with CCTV and piped music, although I didn't explore much further. The dining experience, although mainly breakfast, was superb, with French pastries available. The facilities are being updated in main reception tools and materials.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with a huge TV despite being a bit small and lacking some amenities like a fridge or safe. The faded English instructions were a bit hard to read, but overall, the room was spotless and bedding fresh.
